How do I clean the lens or remove dust?

Over time, dust may collect around or inside your projector lens—especially if it’s used regularly or in open environments. Don’t worry: cleaning your Vision Beam™ Pro 2 is simple and safe when done correctly.

🧽 Cleaning the Exterior Lens (Surface Dust):

  1. Turn off and unplug the projector. Always wait for it to cool before cleaning.
  2. Use a soft, dry microfiber cloth. Gently wipe the lens in a circular motion to remove fingerprints or surface dust.

❌ Don’t use liquids, alcohol, or harsh cleaners.
❌ Avoid pressing too hard on the lens.

💨 Removing Internal Dust (Black Dots or Blurry Spots on Screen):

If you notice a persistent black spot or fuzzy area in your projection, there may be dust inside the lens chamber. You can try this:

  1. Use a can of compressed air or a handheld air blower.
  2. Blow short bursts into the ventilation openings (side and back), especially near the lens.
  3. Gently tilt the projector forward while doing this to help dislodge internal particles.
  4. Plug it back in and test the image.

🧰 Included Cleaning Kit:
We’ve included a cleaning tool kit in the box to help with basic dust maintenance. Use only the soft brush and tools provided.

If the dust persists or is deep inside, contact support before attempting further cleaning.

🧼 Tips to Keep It Clean Longer:

  • Store with the lens facing away from open airflow.
  • Use the lens cover when not in use.
  • Avoid placing it near fans or open windows.
  • Clean vents occasionally with a dry brush or air.

In summary:
Use a microfiber cloth for surface cleaning, compressed air for internal dust, and always handle the lens area gently. Clean visuals = better viewing experience.
