How to Use HDMI with Your VisionBeam Projector

1. Prepare Your External Device and HDMI Cable:
   1. Make sure your external device (laptop, gaming console, streaming stick, etc.) is powered on and ready to connect.
   2. Use a functional and compatible HDMI cable.
2. Connect the HDMI Cable:
   1. Plug one end of the HDMI cable into the HDMI port of your external device.
   2. Plug the other end into the HDMI port of your VisionBeam projector.
3. Select the HDMI Input on the Projector:
   1. Turn on the VisionBeam projector.
   2. From the projector’s home screen, locate and select the HDMI app in the menu.
4. Wait for Automatic Detection:
   1. Once you’ve selected the HDMI input, the projector should automatically detect the signal from your external device.
   2. Important: If nothing appears immediately, wait a few seconds. Some devices may take a moment to sync the signal.
5. If Nothing Launches After a Few Seconds:
   1. Step 1: Turn off the external device (e.g., Fire Stick, console, laptop).
   2. Return to the projector's home screen.
   3. Unplug and re-plug the HDMI cable from both the projector and the external device.
   4. Go back into the HDMI app on the projector and restart the external device.
   5. This helps reset the sync between the projector and the device.
6. If It Still Doesn’t Work:
   1. While in the HDMI app on the projector, unplug and re-plug the HDMI cable again.
   2. This action forces the projector to reattempt the connection.
7. Adjust Focus and Screen Size:
   1. Use the focus wheel or settings on the projector to sharpen the image.
   2. Adjust the screen size via the projector settings or by repositioning the projector to fit your desired dimensions.
8. Check the Sound:
   1. Ensure that the volume on both the projector and the external device is turned up.
   2. If preferred, connect external speakers or a soundbar via Bluetooth or the audio jack for enhanced sound quality.
9. Enjoy Your Content!
   1. Once connected, your external device’s screen should display on the projection.

Troubleshooting Tips:

• Nothing Displays on the Screen:
  • Ensure the HDMI cable is securely connected on both ends.
  • Confirm that the external device is powered on.

  • Test the HDMI cable with another device to ensure it’s functioning.
• No Sound:
  • Check the audio settings on both the projector and the external device.
  • Make sure the audio mode (e.g., Bluetooth or internal speakers) is correctly configured.
