Only one earbud is working — how can I fix this?

If you hear sound from only one side of your ViSound Air™, don’t worry — this is usually just a pairing desynchronization between the earbuds. It’s easy to fix in under a minute.

Step 1 — Reset both earbuds

  1. Place both earbuds in the charging case and leave the lid open.
  2. Tap either earbud 5 times quickly to perform a factory reset.
  3. The lights will flash rapidly — this means the reset is complete.
  4. On your phone or laptop, go to Bluetooth settings and forget “SK26.”
  5. Close the case, wait 10 seconds, then reopen it — the earbuds will automatically re-sync and enter pairing mode together.

Step 2 — Reconnect

  1. On your device, search for “SK26” under Bluetooth devices.
  2. Tap to connect.
  3. Wait until both earbuds play the connection sound — you should now hear audio in both ears.

Step 3 — Check for contact or battery issues

If one side is still silent:

  • Make sure both earbuds are fully charged (red light on each earbud when charging).
  • Clean the charging contacts with a soft dry cloth to remove dust or residue.
  • Ensure both earbuds are seated correctly in the case.

Pro tips

  • Always place both earbuds in the case together to keep them synced.
  • Avoid pairing one earbud separately — they’re designed to auto-sync when used as a pair.
  • You can still use a single earbud intentionally if you want to stay aware of your surroundings.
